Im a British 33 year old woman currently financing herself through her final year of a batchelors degree in psychology. When I finish this I plan to combine my interest in psychology with my love of interior remodelling/design in my own business. Prior to starting my degree I spent 10 years in the software industry as a project manager. I have travelled a lot with my work, lived in New Zealand and the US (Houston) for several months each. I have a love of life and believe that we should make the most of every opportunity that comes our way. Be that meeting new people, encountering new challenges or increasing our experience of life in general. I like to spend time with people, and believe that life is better when can share it with someone special. As far as outdoor pursuits go I enjoy sailing, cycling and walking (particularly if there is great scenery along the way. I am so learning to ride a motorcyle - hey you only live once. I like to socialise; out with friends at a bar or having people round for dinner (when I have time)but am equally at home visiting museums, sightseeing or curled up on the couch watching a movie or listening to music. I love spending time near water and am often found sitting at a bistro, reading a book by the waters edge. I know, blonde and can read - who knew !! :-)

Integrity and trust are the two most important values to me. I make effort to maintain these values in myself and expect them in others. Bad manners are a turn-off but chivalry, kindness and good manners are the opposite. I am generous & romantic in nature and like to look after my loved ones - and be looked after too. A great relationship to me is one in which I can feel that I can relax, secure in the knowledge that the other person is with me because of who I am and not what they want me to be (and they are the same). When this happens, I believe the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts. As a great friendship is the basis of a great relationship, this is what I am looking for. If a great relationship follows that brings the good ol' fashioned romance and the possibility of a family life...even better. |
